Shake, rattle but not quite roll!
If I could roll or jump up and down, then I reckon I would definitely rattle!
These are the tablets I have to take right now. It works out at 25 tablets a day and after filling my tray with a weeks worth of meds, I had used up 19 blister packs!
Thank goodness I don't have to pay for my prescriptions thanks to Tax Credits!
The only good thing about taking that lot, is that I can function and move around. First thing in the morning is pretty dire, although getting better day by day. Initially it was agony to move first thing at the weekend but now I can actually make it to the kitchen to take the meds rather than taking them in bed and waiting for them to kick in. Although, living in a bungalow my room is just off the kitchen so I don't have far to shuffle!
Saw the physio on Monday and have been given regular exercises, although she is keeping an eye on my left foot which isn't quite moving properly. Footdrop is a side effect of the surgery and I don't want that to become a problem so sit here raising and lowering my left foot all the time!
My wound has healed well at least!
So, I am getting there, albeit slowly, but am working hard towards getting back to work before the kids break up for the Summer holidays in July.
