Roll on Summer!

Don't you just long for those lovely Summer days. This is George on Weymouth beach last Summer.
I don't do Winter and it seems that after a beautiful warm (ish) day yesterday, we appear to be diving straight back into the depths of Winter this weekend.
I wouldn't mind if we got a bit of snow down here to accompany the cold, but living so far south, we don't get it. Well, we did have a very brief blizzard a couple of weeks back but even that didn't settle. I'm just a big kid when it comes to snow and love to walk on fresh crispy snow and feel it crunch beneath my feet, but no chance. All we get (if it does settle) is soggy, wet mush!

Just give me Summer any day. The temptation to move abroad to somewhere where sun is guaranteed most of the year round and to be able to go out somewhere without having to worry about taking a brolly, is so great. Maybe one day!

In the meantime, the t-shirts come in and out of the drawer and the raincoat remains on permanent standby.

Off to immerse myself in a nice warm bath and then decide which jumper it's going to be today!
